Terms & Conditions
- All payments for Hydrotherapy treatment are due at the time of the appointment, unless sessions are block booked & paid for in advance.
- Tynedale K9 Hydrotherapy will take all precautions to maintain the water standards and equipment. However, all dogs will undergo hydrotherapy treatment entirely at their owners risk.
- All hydrotherapy courses, including those to be part of an insurance claim, must be paid for in advance. Individual sessions will be paid for at the time of treatment.
- Dogs MUST have a prior referral or authorisation from their Veterinary Surgeon before any hydrotherapy will commence.
- If a session is cancelled without 24hours prior notice Tynedale K9 Hydrotherapy has the right to charge the session fees in full.
- Dogs with infectious or contagious conditions i.e. Ear, skin or eye infections, will not be treated. Tynedale K9 Hydrotherapy advises owners to cancel all appointments with 24 hours notice (when possible) & not to resume hydrotherapy until the condition is completely clear. Normal cancellation conditions apply.
- Under no circumstances should bitches in season attend Tynedale K9 Hydrotherapy until their season is completed.
- Dogs will not be treated without an up to date vaccination certificate which should include Kennel Cough. Tynedale K9 Hydrotherapy requires sight of an up to date veterinary vaccination record prior to any treatment commencing.
- It is the owner’s responsibility to notify Tynedale K9 Hydrotherapy if their dog’s injury or condition worsens during the course of hydrotherapy. Owners must also advise Tynedale K9 Hydrotherapy if the veterinary surgeon advises if the treatment should be stopped or suspended.
- Owners are responsible for any charges, which may be made by their Veterinary Surgeon, for the completion of the registration & referral consent forms required by Tynedale K9 Hydrotherapy
- When not undergoing treatment Dogs must be kept under control and on a lead at all times whilst on Vallum Farm & Tynedale K9 Hydrotherapy premises. Dogs unable to walk without assistance are not required to be on a lead.
- There is no designated area within the Vallum Farm orTynedale K9 Hydrotherapy premises for dogs to defecate. And under no circumstance should animals be allowed to foul outside of the premises.
- It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure that any defecation is cleaned away & disposed of correctly.
- Owners are requested not to feed their dog for at least 3 hours prior to attending a hydrotherapy appointment. Owners should also ensure that their dogs have emptied its bowels prior to arriving for their appointment.
- An additional charge of £50.00 will be charged if a dog defecates in the pool. As any fouling will result in closure of the pool for cleaning.
- Dogs that have experienced diahorrea within 48 hours of their scheduled appointment will NOT be allowed to swim.
- A surcharge of £200.00 will apply if a dog experiences diahorrea in the pool or pool area. As this will incur a complete pool shut down & clean which will close the business for at least 24 hours.
- Vallum Farm & Tynedale K9 Hydrotherapy cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to vehicles or personal property whilst on company premises
- Vallum Farm & Tynedale K9 Hydrotherapy cannot be held responsible for any loss or injury to any person or animal whilst on company premises.
- As the pool area will become very wet during hydrotherapy sessions, and may become slippery, when attending Tynedale K9 Hydrotherapy, it is the owner’s responsibility to wear sensible flat shoes if possible with a non-slip sole.
- If owners wish to be present during the hydrotherapy sessions Tynedale K9 Hydrotherapy recommend they bring shower proof jackets & trousers to protect their clothing from the water.
- Under no circumstances will children under 10 years of age be allowed in the pool area.
- Tynedale K9 Hydrotherapy Centre reserves the right to refuse treatment to any dog.
