Rehabilitation treatment for dogs is a specialist area that is constantly evolving; Tynedale K9 Hydrotherapy is committed to ensuring that it keeps up-to-date with the latest techniques and procedures; providing you and your dog with the best treatment available.

Our rehabilitation treatment programmes are designed to help dogs that have recently undergone surgery, been injured or suffer from diseases and impairments in the musculoskeletal system including: muscles, tendons, bones and joints.

We work closely with you and your veterinary surgeon to develop a rehabilitation programme that is tailored to meet the specific requirements of your dog.

Veterinary Approval
Tynedale K9 Hydrotherapy will consult with your vet at all key stages of the treatment programme.

Treatment will not commence until approval has been received from your veterinary surgeon.

Initial Treatment – Post Operative
In most cases dogs that have recently undergone surgery will receive their initial hydrotherapy treatment twice per week.

On-going Treatment
The recommended frequency of treatment for dogs that require long-term rehabilitation is weekly or fortnightly.

Treatment Review
Tynedale K9 Hydrotherapy will constantly review and adapt the treatment programme for your dog; according to its condition, progress and advice from your veterinary surgeon.
