Our 4 labradors have experienced untold benefit from attending sessions at Tynedale K9 Hydrotherapy. Each dog has a different problem & both Lynne and Michael have demonstrated their skills by developing a different programme to suit each of our dogs conditions.
Hattie was the first to attend following referral from Capontree Vets at Brampton. Hattie had an operation for a ruptured cruciate ligament. With the care & attention she received from Tynedale K9 Hydrotherapy she is well on her way to a full recovery and is once again becoming a young, fit and bouncy labrador.
Fudge is the old girl of our family at 9 years of age. She has arthritis in her spine and this has caused her constant pain & problems in her walking. She was referred to Tynedale K9 Hydrotherapy by Strachan, Tyson & Hamilton vets - Tynemouth. If you were to see her now you would have difficulty believing her age, particularlywhen she is running for sheer joy on the beach, chasing Pippa and the others through the waves. 12 months ago we thought we were going to loose her, now she has a new lease of life and is once again being entered into Championshop Dog Shows where she has been admired by the judges & her fitness commented on.
Pippa is our No1. show dog and we wanted to improve her fitness without putting undue strain on her joints. Again Lynne & Michael put together a programme for Pippa and we now have a wonderful dog who qualified for Crufts. This year, Crufts 2010, Pippa made the final 8 out of a very large class of over 30 dogs. A credit to Lynne & Michael.
Merlin is our 8 month old labrador pup who has been going through a period of very rapid growth. Periods of rapid growth in young dogs can put undue strain on joints and exercise needs to be restricted. In order to prevent any juvenile skeletal problems Lynne & Michael developed a specific programme for Merlin which has helped him exercise fully without putting undue strain on his joints.
All 4 of our dogs love their sessions, they jump out the car & run straight to the door to be let in. Surely this is the best testimonial there can be.
